Back to School

With our pencils sharpened and satchels full of enthusiasm, let Education Group help plan your school activities this autumn.

Whether you are planning school assemblies or thinking of school fundraising ideas, our range of activities are suitable as an after school club, part of an arts week or as a memorable school day.

What is Black History Month?

Black History Month is in October and it is a celebration of the contributions made by people of African descent. This year, Education Group’s Black History Month activities will include African drumming and African dance. Whether you choose start the day with a whole school assembly or invite parents to a fundraising performance by your pupils, the day is bound to be a hit.

What is Diwali?

Diwali is a Hindu festival known as the festival of lights. Education Group celebrates this event with our Indian Dance Workshop; one of our most popular workshops for schools. We guarantee it will be a school event to remember.

Christmas greetings

Many schools looking for a change from their Christmas school plays or nativity assemblies will be interested to hear more about our Christmas bauble workshops. An excellent school fundraising idea, this fun-filled event promotes school art and allows each child to create their own bauble to take pride of place on the family tree this Christmas.

Moving forward to next year we have a selection of new workshops for schools celebrating the Chinese New Year and several events for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. In 2012, we are also teaming up with Olympic legend Derek Redmond and launching our exclusive ‘Follow the Flame’ workshop across the UK finishing with many events in London. 2012 is set to be a busy year!

Whether you are targeting healthy eating in schools or are looking for PTA fundraising ideas, why not look at our range of cross curricular workshops?
