Step back in time and commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day with a vibrant and engaging dance workshop! "Dancing in Union for VE Day" offers pupils a unique opportunity to explore the evolution of dance from the end of World War II to the present day, while celebrating a pivotal moment in history.
Children explore iconic dance styles from each of the decades, from 40s tea dance, via jive, 00s pop to current social media dance crazes. They can also perform in an end-of-day show. Choose your decade and dance in unity!
The workshop fosters a sense of unity and celebration, bringing the spirit of VE Day to life through the joy of movement.
Our professional dancers get everyone moving. We offer half, full and multi-day workshops, working with up to seven classes per day. Join us for a nostalgic and uplifting celebration of unity, history and the enduring power of dance!
