Egyptian Cartouche Painting

Every child paints their name in hieroglyphics on their own cartouche

This workshop is a unique way to study Ancient Egypt.

In Ancient Egypt, Kings and royalty encircled their name, written in hieroglyphics, with a design called a cartouche. These cartouche were meant to protect against evil spirits both in this life and the afterlife.

Our facilitators set up a mobile studio in your school and we provide all materials and equipment for every child to create their masterpiece.

This interactive workshop is a superb way to explore this ancient culture and can also be used as a school fundraising event.
