Take control of your mental wellbeing
This mental health workshop teaches children simple techniques to help them become true mindfulness superheroes, taking control of their mental well-being. Through games and exercises, children learn strategies to cope with unwanted emotions, control their breathing and heartbeat, and cultivate calmness and resilience.
Mindfulness has been proven to improve mental health and social skills in children, mitigate the effects of bullying and enhance focus for learning. Our mental health workshops for schools are designed to provide children with the tools they need to thrive.
During the workshop, children will explore the basic concept of mindfulness, take part in simple mindfulness exercises that can be used at home and in the classroom. They will develop skills and strategies to build resilience, and learn how to communicate their feelings effectively.
Our sessions are tailored to maximise participation, using props and accessories to aid learning. Workshops can be customized for KS1, KS2 and KS3 students, making them ideal for World Mental Health Day or any time your school wishes to focus on mental well-being.
