Samba Drumming

Bring a Latin flavour to your school and hear the children create music from South America. Using various percussion instruments, our facilitators help the children to create rhythms and sounds that will make you want to samba your way through the school day. 

This workshop is suitable for all ages as a great introduction to rhythm and basic percussion techniques. We provide samba percussion instruments for every child to join in. The children play traditional instruments and sing songs to create a samba rhythm.

This is aligned to targets within Key Stages One and Two of the Music National Curriculum. We can work with seven classes per day.
