Frequently Asked Questions

How many children can take part each day?

Approximately 200 children. Our workshops have been developed to work with a whole one form entry school in one day.

Why book an Education Group workshop?

Education Group develops and delivers our own unique workshops. Most workshop companies are agencies with little or no expertise in the vast range of workshops they offer.

What workshop is best for my school?

Most of our workshops fit into certain events. African drumming is suitable for Black History Month, Christmas baubles at Christmas or a Snap Mosaic for your schools centenary. Contact a member of our team for other options.

Our hall is used for lunches

Not a problem, we are used to working around hall timetables and will arrange a programme to suit you.

Do our pupils need to be in PE kit for the dance workshops?

We leave this decision up to you but advise that the children are either barefoot or wearing plimsolls, not trainers.

Which activities are best suited to each age group?

Our workshops and topics are all adaptable from 4 to 13 year olds. For example, our dance workshop has a variety of choreographed moves suitable for each age group and our drummers use simple rhythms for the younger children but more advanced polyrhythms with older age groups.

Do we need to pay for the workshop in advance?

No. Invoices are generated a week or two before the workshop takes place and are available to download from your user area. We allow 28 days for payment after the workshop has taken place but can extend this upon request if payment is made through the local authority.
